Para los que no nos conozcáis, somos un club de aeromodelismo relativamente joven y desarrollamos nuestra actividad deportiva desde hace unos 10 años aproximadamente.

Como podéis ver en las fotos del enlace de arriba, disponemos de un terreno de unos 10,000 m2, cedido por el Ayto de Getafe, en el que en estos años, con la aportación prácticamente en exclusiva de nuestros socios, hemos ido creado este espacio, donde practicar nuestro deporte-ciencia favorito...

As you can see
in the photos of the link above, we have a land of about 10,000 m2, very close to Madrid, Spain. This
space has been provided by the Getafe Town Hall, where over the years,
with the almost exclusive contribution of our Club members has been posible to
create this space where we can practice and promote our favourite science
sport...

UNA NUEVA PISTA DE VUELO DE HORMIGÓN
Our desire to
continue advancing and improving, has always led us to try to make a continuous
improvement of our facilities, in order to develop and
promote other modalities of Control Line Aeromodelling and its corresponding
Competitions.
That means that we have to carry a Project that we have been
thinking for a long time: to build the
NEW CONCRETE
FLYING RUNWAY
Actualmente, contamos con dos pistas de hierba, en las que organizamos competiciones, sobre todo, de F2B Acrobacia y F2D combate.
Podéis ver en la imagen inferior, la distribución de estas dos pistas un nuestros instalaciones.
La línea verde, indica la valla que delimita actualmente la porción de terreno que estamos usando ahora, pero la línea roja, delimita el terreno que también tenemos cedido por el Ayto de Getafe y que vamos a usar para esta ampliación.
At the moment,
we have two grass runways, where we organise competitions, mainly F2B Aerobatics
and F2D Combat. For example, we have organised the 2022
Spanish National F2B and F2D Championships:

Con esta nueva pista, el Club Luis Cid Fuentes podrá organizar competiciones en las que ya tendrán cabida todas las especialidades de Vuelo Circular, ya incluidos Cto de España... y quien sabe que mas en el futuro.
Una pista de hormigón es muy cara para nuestro limitado presupuesto, pero a pesar de esto, estamos trabajando para poderla llevar acabo.
Contamos con una pequeña subvención que nos concedió el Ayto de Getafe y algo de ahorro que el propio club ha ido realizando, pero no es suficiente...
y aquí es donde entras tú.

The green line
indicates the fence that delimits the land we are using now, but the red line
delimits the additional land that we have also been provided by the Getafe Town
Hall and that we are going to use for this extension of activities.
With this new
flying runway, the Club Luis Cid Fuentes will be able to organize competitions
of all the specialities of Circular Flying (F2A Speed and F2C Team Racing need
concrete runway), already included in the Spanish National Championship... and
who knows what else in the future (maybe a F2 European Championship?, a F2 World
Championship?).
A concrete
flying runway is very expensive for our limited budget, but we are working hard
to make it happen.
We have a small
grant from the Getafe Town Hall and small savings that the club itself has been
making, but it is not enough...
and this is where you come in…
